Southern Downs Drilling is a family owned and operated well drilling business based in the Darling Downs in Queensland. Currently operated by the McCartin family, Southern Downs Drilling started in the early 1970s as a drilling rig manufacturing business based in Dalby. For many years, the business sold custom made rigs across Australia. In the early 2000s Southern Downs Drilling evolved into its current form, constructing quality water bores for farmers and small acreage property owners.

Southern Downs Drilling is fully licensed (Class 1 driller) and holds the required liability insurances. All bores are constructed in accordance with Queensland Department of Natural Resources and Mines standards.
Today, Travis and his team of boring and drilling contractors travel across South East Queensland from their base in Toowoomba to deliver a quality and reliable service.
